Get a 7 day tube pass and you can see so much with so little money, and the subway system is so easy to use. Westminster Abbey is your best tourist attraction for your dollar. Stay at guest houses or bed and breakfast to save money. They cost less than hotels and they feed you breakfast. I took a walking tour which was really interesting — they showed us some “hidden” places in London that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. If you are willing to spend a couple of hours in line, you can see great show in London’s theatre district without trying to get the tickets in advance.
