Shenandoah National Park, Virginia

This is the most beautiful place in the world

What more can I say? I like to be there in the fall when the waterfalls have dried up and you can scale the rock faces in sneakers. Absolutely magical.

South Carolina, United States

a great spring break

I and my mom and sister and her family spent a week camping at Edisto Beach State Park. Except for the stormy night with tornados when we retreated to a local (steel reinforced concrete) hotel, it was beautiful. Visited the warships and historic sites in Charleston, and the International Center for Birds of Prey (seriously cool) – 5 year old Abby got to feed a vulture, among other really cool sights.

Hershey, Dauphin County

Go just for the smell

C’mon, how can you resist a town with Hershey’s Kiss shaped traffic lights? Ride the Super Duper Looper, learn how chocolate is made, and then practice eating it.
