I imagine this place to be a beatuiful jewel of frozen history. I was captivated by the erie pictures of the frozen people unearthed from ashes of vesuvius as a child and am very excited to be traveling there this fall.

While, I’ve been here once before, I was sick almost the whole time. So I’m looking forward to a much better visit. Especially since eating street food is one of my favorite parts of traveling and I missed out on that last time.
over 5 years agoA year ago I knew little about Halifax beyond it’s name. Now it is a the top of the list of places I want to go. I want to visit the citadel, I want to play frisbee and watch kites at the beach, I want to explore the streets, and experience the sounds and the smells of this city, I want to listen to some great east coast music live. Most of all I want to embrace my best friend.
The best places to visit are those where a piece of your heart is. A great big piece of my heart is in halifax.
