Visited in late December 2007 first time snowboarding. Great place to visit such pretty scenery just like a Christmas card. Quite expensive place but your are at the top of a mountain. The drive from Seattle take forever through snowy mountains. I would recommend this place rather than Whistler as its has snow where as Whistler was just warm & wet. Tip get up early before 10:00 to avoid the ski schools taking over the runs.

Excellent trip and it was not raining!!

Pompeii is the size of a small city.The Romans were far more advanced than you can ever imagine with Wine Bars, fast food shops all this 2000 plus years ago. Its a must see place, one piece of advice use the local tour guides to take you around its much better than some recorded voice player.

The local buses are good but a scary ride around all the hairpin bends, Place to eat “The Red Lion” Leone Rossi up near the bus / train station sounds a grotty English place but the food and service is excellent and very reasonable compared to other Pizza Ristorantes.

Excellent trip very reasonable, If you are using the subway don’t forget to get on the first five carriges or you cannot get off. Ellis Island is part of the same trip and is also very interesting.

If you want to enjoy your visit go early morning as the queue later on are as tall as the building, they go on & on and just when you get into the lift to the 80th Floor the queue start all over again. The Best views of New York are from The Rockafella Tower, well organised alot more stylish building and you can see the Empire State from The Rock.
