Al's, Dinkytown

Untitled by gopher646

This place is really small. I think it will only fit about 15 people inside. Usually there is a line out the door, but the food is worth it. I used to take my parents here when I was in college and they were in town visiting.

Loring Pasta Bar, Dinkytown

I agree with “Flash.” This is a great place to take a visitor (or go if you are a visitor). The ambiance is absolutely incredible! It’s definitely a place that will impress out of town visitors! If you’re a student, they offer a nice discount. I used to go all the time when I was in college in Minneapolis.

Paris, Ile de France

Untitled by gopher646

It’s so cliche, but I fell in love with Paris. The best city I’ve been to so far… and I’m a New Yorker.

France, Europe

I went to France for my first visit to Europe in 2003. I really, really loved it.

London Heathrow Airport, Hillingdon

Untitled by gopher646

It’s an airport. Nothing special. If you’re flying anywhere in Africa from the States, you’ll probably have a layover here. I was worried that it would be really confusing, because of it’s size, but it’s not.

Piccadilly Circus, City of Westminster

It’s a London Times Square, but smaller. Go once, but don’t expect much.

Harrods, Knightsbridge

Untitled by gopher646

It was fun to see, but I didn’t buy anything… but I’m a New Yorker, so I could get almost everything they had at Harrod’s here at home. It’s a must-see if you’re in London, though!

World's Largest Ball Of Twine Made By One Man, Darwin

Untitled by gopher646

It’s in a VERY, VERY small town about and hour and a half west of Minneapolis. It was pretty cool to see just for the bragging rights alone.

Canada, North America

I love Canada. It’s a nice mix of the U.S. and Europe.
