Arkansas

Not worth visiting!

I am terrified of Arkansas

killed car one, trapped me for two days in creepy town with incompetent mechanic, caused the good Dr. Jenn Jenn Seuss to listen to the Entire soundtrack to Rocky Horror Picture Show while I drove through it, killed car two on another occasion, I do try to avoid it when possible.

Oh man, oh man

St. Louis is the coolest city to drive by at night—with or without psychedelics.

Iowa

Not worth visiting!

Iowa hates me

the speed limit is much Too Slow. I got my first speeding ticket Ever here. And I got stuck in the worst thunderstorm here during my first cross country drive which turned out to be pretty cool once I got off the highway.

Nebraska

Not worth visiting!

Nebraska so flat...

that I don’t care I never use this map have I made it clear…

And oh yes it is Long and Flat and Not Interesting. Except for that Pizza Hut somewhere in the middle—very nice waitress made us coffee and offered us ice cream.

Interesting energy

There were aspects of it I loved, but I don’t think I would live there.

the Alcan and beyond

We drove the entire length of the Alcan which ended or maybe started in Dawson Creek, BC (1500 km). We took a lot of unnecessary pictures of the event. The Watson Lake road sign cemetary was a delightful touch to the trip. And driving down to Vancouver—So Awesome.
