I took this shot from approximately the same location where they filmed the footage-can’t remember the name of the pyramid we were on-anyway, there we are at one of the wonders of pre-colombiam America and everyone oohed and ahhed and talked about Star Wars. People from all over the world talking about Star Wars. We are everywhere. I AM your FATHER!

I lived way out in the bush on the southern highland (La Gran Sabana). I had hooked up with a hippy family in Guatemala who were seeking land to start a commune. We ended up in Venezuala. As far as I know, they’re still down there—I eventually bugged out and had to com back to the states.

folks are very friendly and most parts of the coutry are easily accessible. I HIGHLY recommend shelling out the bucks for the white-water trips based out of San Jose

every year.
