Visiting my grandmother in Denver always included a trip to Casa Bonita, and I must have explored every inch of that place. It looks so tiny from the front, only to reveal a magical themed shangri-li on the inside. I liked their food a lot too. I loved the little flags you raised when you needed service, and staff with walkie talkies to keep those lines moving. No doubt one of my favorite places to eat ever!

This is not the easiest resort to ski because of it’s location and frequent winter road closures, but it is well worth the journey if you are a good skier and want a real Alpine Skiing experience in southern California.
With it’s tree lined paths down the steep front side of the mountain, it is an adrenaline rush every time you head downhill and I can’t wait to ski it again in 2010!
about 1 year agoSkied 3 days in Brian Head with my fiancée and had a wonderful time. It had snowed the previous week plus had spring weather conditions so I could ski in my t-shirt. The town is very small, so there is not a lot to do at night (plus it being in Utah), but we enjoyed being there very much.
