i thought it was really dirty. but that was quite a few years ago so maybe it’s changed?
if you dont want to run into hundreds of drunk/high teenagers avoid OC between the beginning to middle of july during beach week.
otherwise, i cant say that its really memorable. nothing stands out from the last time i was there…

im mostly irish, but i’ve still got scottish in me, so i think it’d be really cool to visit scotland :-) it looks gorgeous

im absolutely dying to go. im hoping ill get there next year at some point. i’ve been doing a LOT of research. if im not doing anything, im on the computer researching or sitting in borders reading books on scandinavia. im obsessed!! i just hope it doesnt let me down :-/

went to see Big & Rich, Cowboy Troy and others. concert right on the beach. absolutely gorgeous, environment is friendly and its very clean. at least what i saw of it…

i’ve always wanted to go to Ruisrock, and next year i think ill get my chance with the trip im planning :-) i’d love to check out turku as well as helsinki, so i think thats what ill do!

im planning my trip to europe next summer, planning to hit stockholm, helsinki, and tallinn. any places you guys can think of that are “must see?” or any places i should just flat out avoid? thanks!! i cant wait :-)

i’ve lived near d.c. my whole life, which has only been about 18 years, but nonetheless…beatiful city. its sad that alot of people who live around here really dont appreciate it because we’re so close and we’ve just gotten used to it. its only a metro ride away for me. i get bored when relatives come and all they want to see are the ten million monuments and buildings in d.c. but if you’re into museums…d.c. is the place. the holocaust museum is pretty intense, but well worth the trip. food-wise, i suggest hard rock only because one of the workers there let me sign the guitar in the window. hah. but there’s plenty of places to eat. if you’re going to visit, now’s the time because the cherry blossoms are gorgeous…

AMAZING! brightly painted houses. gorgeous streets. ferry ride over wasnt even that bad.
but no trip to the vineyard is complete without getting a black dog shirt, or riding the oldest merry go round. haha
all in all, fun trip

god i love the cape. i’ve only been twice, and that needs to change, because it is the most amazing vacation spot. we had a house right across the street from this beach that made it feel like it was your own private beach. barely anyone on it all day, and all you literally had to do was walk off the back deck, cross the street, and you hit the sand. i remember lying in bed everynight with the windows open listening to the waves, while the breeze drifted in. cheesy. but sooo relaxing. AWESOME PLACE!! but dont forget water shoes…those rocks will cut you up like there’s no tomorrow…
