I visited Tibet in September 2006, first starting off in Nepal. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have been to the Isle of Lewis four times. It is a lovely island away from all the cities and the people are very friendly. I would love to visit again.

I’ve visited Mongolia a few times. It is one of the best places I have been to. If you go, make sure you stay with a Nomad family and live in a ger for a few nights. Read more and see my photos on http://www.trans-siberia.com

I lived in Cyprus in the mid-60’s. I have since visited both North Cyprus and Cyprus a few times. It is a wonderful country with lovely food and people. I enjoy Northern Cyprus the most – it is less commercialised.

I visited here on the Trans-Siberian railway. Work visiting to get on your list, although there is not a lot to see/do. http://www.trans-siberia.com
