Worth visiting!

WOW.

I mean, the thing about this place was that everything was built to a different scale :O
And budget, for that matter. Hotels are HUGE conceptual pieces or art that people happen to dwell in for a time. Restaurants are like concepts..sometimes underwater even.

I don’t know what it’s like to actually live there, but my, for a holiday this was fascinating, cool, and very, very different to anyplace i’d ever been before.

lovely

I had such a blast in Kerry. The people are lovely and friendly and the countryside is lush.
A very different pace of life. :)

Not worth visiting!

Yes and no.

OK, it’s beautiful and the skiing is lovely. I mean, really it’s a lovely place to go skiing. Stunning.

But man oh man did i encouter some problems with the locals. And i never have that problem, ever.
So I hope i don’t offend anyone. It could just have been my bad luck, but it does linger as a memory i’m afraid.
Sorry!

Cowley

Worth visiting!

well... it depends.

See, if the world was coming to an end, by – say – being overtaken by flesh eating zombies..then cowely would definitly be the place to be in Oxford. The zombies would either get creeped out by all the cement wasteland and head elsewhere, or the super testosterone-driven and-hopped-up-on-sugar pre-teens would pulverise them into oblivion long before they ever got to your door.

That’s charm that can grow on you, I guess. ;)

Oxford

Worth visiting!

Untitled

Some parts of this city are so pretty, they look like they should be inside a snowglobe :). There’s a lot of romantic history here, from remenants of the Knights Templar and buildings dating back to the 15th centurary, to authors like Tolkien, CS Lewis, and Lewis Carol having lived here. There’s also Blenheim Palace, which was home to Winston Churchil, and the white horse of uffington not so far away which dates back to celtic times, so all in all, I think Oxford has something for every visitor.
It’s defitnily a must-see for anyone visiting the uk.
