This is my favorite spot I visited in Ireland. The holy mountain itself is beautiful, but start climbing, turn around and gaze out into Clew Bay (you know, where John Lennon had an island, Dorinish Island, which Ono sold for charity after his death). Beatles trivia aside, even if you don’t make it to the chapel at the top, I can’t imagine regretting visiting this.
over 4 years agoI just got back from a tour around Ireland and Kilkenny was my favorite city there. It felt so old, classic, and beautiful. I had a great time and definitely want to return.
over 4 years agoI’m looking back at my photos and really wished I could have spent a little more time just taking it all in. I plan on revisiting the cliffs at some point.
