If i’d really want to support them. When I visited the animals were just in bad shape and depressed. Especially the eagles (in a very dirty small cage) and the elephant (Maggie? I beleive it was). I’ve been to many zoos and I’ve never seen one this bad. While I personally think people should be able to go to zoos (if the animals are healthy and taken care of) but this is not one of those places :( I haven’t been in at least 3 years. It was my first and last visit. I wouldn’t want to line thier pockets since i honestly couldn’t see where the money was going any way (not to maintaining a better environment that’s for sure). But they might have changed by now. i REALLY hope they have changed for the better in 2010.
