Not recommended.

Overpriced. Overcrowded. Mediocre service. And one of us got mild food poisoning to boot. Seek out one of the city’s ten thousand other, better delis.

Pearl River Market, Chinatown

It's good but...

Don’t get me wrong – I really love Pearl River. It’s great and there’s a ton of cool stuff to be found here. BUT. It’s not really the real Chinatown. Yes, it’s pretty and clean and, come summertime, smells a LOT better than Chinatown, but it’s not really the real deal. So, don’t just go here and miss out seeing what Chinatown is really like.
