Feather Bowling at the Cadieux Cafe

I’d like to try this. It’s almost impossible to get a reservation.

Cranbrook

Inspiration

Cranbrook, Kent was the inspiration for my high school, Kingswood School Cranbrook, part of the Cranbrook Educational Community. I’d love to see it!

You gotta see Mac!

Of course, the trip would not be complete without visiting the McDonald’s there too.

Manhattan Beach

Worth visiting!

Wish the weather had cooperated!

We loved Manhattan Beach, even though it was quite windy and cold when we visited in mid-April. I could never be truly miserable on a beach!

Venice Beach

Worth visiting!

Loved It!

The people-watching is great! I could have sat on a bench and watched all day! I also found my dream house! It’s the one with the glassed-in room with the chandelier. You have to access it via an outdoor staircase.. hard to describe..

Desolate Beauty

I’ve spent many summers in Rockglen, Saskatchewan. As a kid, there was always something to do. As an adult now, I am often overwhelmed by the beauty of the plains.

Cedar Point

Worth visiting!

Best Roller Coaster park!

Cedar Pointe is without peer in the United States. Stay on the grounds (the Breakers is great, but pricey) and spend some time at the beach on Lake Erie. Buy a 1 1/2 day pass and visit the park in the evening when everyone else is calling it a day.

Fox & Hounds Restaurant

Worth visiting!

Local favorite

My husband & I spend alot of time here. The Pub has good live music 7 nights a week and the people are friendly. The food is good and reasonable. Save room for dessert! It’s made on the premises in the bakery.

Beautiful Village

I haven’t been here in over 25 years, but I still remember it as being a spectacular setting, overlooking the Mediterranean. I’d love to spend a day or two here, poking around and taking pictures.
Does anyone know of a good hotel?
