really we only drove through. It wasnt that impressive as we were accosted by vagrants at the grocery store.
On the drive thru on the way back, it was labor day and apparently all the people were at the space needle (so im convinced everyone who lives here is an alien) and not at the bars, which all closed ridiculous early (like 10pm on the monday holiday). we still hung out in a cool jazz bar.. i’d like to go back and check out more of the city tho

Loved Canada and Vancouver!! Was only there for a day, but we stayed in a hostel which was excellent. Went down to Davies st and ate awesome sushi. Wandered around hastings st? and the park and had some fun at the amsterdam cafe. went to a pub where they happened to play TOOl and Korn, some of my fav bands and me and my best friend met some really hot guys (an irishman and an austrailian).
Also we drove up to Standley Park and hiked up Grose mtn which was really cool (actually, hot) and then went down to the beach! wow we did a lot in one day
Overall best freakin time!!!

We stayed with some hippee friend’s of my friend, and went to Powells, Voodoo Donuts, and lots of trip into nature in WAshington. It was one of the best trips i’ve even taken. portland rocks!

I might get to move here for a year or so for my job!! I’m totally psyched and can’t wait and hope it really works out!!
I need a change. and this certainly sounds like the place for me! Duh, just found answers to my questions below.
Ok, here’s a more strange question: Are there any good dance studios in the city? How about yoga studios?

the people were nice.. not much to do… and i was there for work.. the weather was wacky…

I went here twice on business, once with high school newspaper, and second with my research position at the University (of CO).
The second time was nice because i had just turned 21 and could drink with my boss. But there are tons of really great restaurants right around Peachtree in the center of Atlanta..
The COca-cola factory is also located right in the city. I thought Atlanta had a lot of cool buildings.
I found the people to be either completely friendly, or more standoffish.

oh this was the greatest Xmas ever! I really want to go back, and get my hair braided again… it was just so relaxing to hear the waves right out your door at nite… and the beach was really pretty.. next time i’d like to try parasailing or jet skiing..

everything is expensive and so fake…
on a long band trip did all the parks, 14 hours a day.. think i’m set for life on this place.. thanks..
but Epcot kicks ass.. and Cirque de Sole is always worth it

Oh, it’s been a year now since i’ve been.. but i do want to revisit… i visited Milan, Venice, Florance, Rome, Salerno, Paestum, Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi, Naples, Pompei … all in 10 days.. dont let anyone tell you you can’t have a great trip in a limited amount of time.
Florence, Paestum and Sorrento were my favorites.. also Rome and Venice
