I bought an adorable paper flower crown from a vendor on the Riverwalk. These are delicate little crowns with lots of bright colors and bunches of curly ribbons streaming down the back. I’m sure they’re made for little kids, but I loved how pretty they all looked. I kept my flower crown for years and only recently had to let it go because it fell apart.
over 5 years agoI spent one of them here with my family at a cool little motel. Zanesville seems to be as far as we could make it in one day on our return trip to Iowa from spending Christmas in New Jersey. In order to be back to Iowa in time for school, we had to leave before the New Year. I lobbied to stay in NJ and then go to Times Square, but I got outvoted by my parents. Thus, it was Zanesville and watching “Grease” the sing-along version.
over 5 years agoI felt very peaceful here. I went by myself to visit her. She is a beautiful statue and has quite a presence. Next time I’ll try to find her letterbox.
