Băile Tuşnad, Transylvania

Untitled

We’ve spent five nights in pension Boróka. It’s a nice accomodation in the hillside—only two minutes far from the railway station of Băile Tuşnad. The staff’s very helpful, speaks Hungarian and Romanian as native language. You can comminucate with them in English as well.

Izola, Slovenia

Untitled

During the period we spent in Izola we had stayed at a Tri Palme appartment. The Tri Palme apparments are about half an hour walk from the old town centre but to reach the beach takes only five minutes. In the nearby (about 3-4 minutes walk) there are Interspar and Merkator, and the bus station is also really very close to the quarters. The apparments are very nice, you can find more information about the rooms and prices on Tri Palme’s homapage. The hosts are kind, the man speaks German and the woman does German and English both.

Ljubljana, Slovenia

Untitled

In Ljubljana we spent a night in one of the Alibi Hostels next to the Ljubljanska. Although the rooms are not so cheap (’twas 20 Euros per person for a bed) and prices do not contain breakfast or other services, they are very friendly there, the rooms are clean and nice, plus you can use the computers connected to the internet in the common room for free. The hostess informed us that on heavy usage the warm water sometimes goes out but we did not experience any shortage, I just can recommend it to you.

Not far away from the railway station you find the Celica Hostel at Njegoševa street from where you can grab a map of the city to find Alibi easier (:
