Zoo Zurich, Zürich

Great place

Very nice facilities – the animals must be loving it.

Last time I was there, the monkeys were going wild. Also there was a very cute baby elephant.

Zürich, Canton of Zürich

A human-scale metropolis

I’ve been living here for 5 years and like it very much. What everyone says is true: Everything superclean and organized. Very nice weather in the summers, cold and foggy in autumn, nice snow in the winters. Skiing is closeby in the mountains. Nice weather can be always found about 3 train hours South in Ticino – a $50 trip.

I like the cosmopolitan attitude of this city: At my university, > 50% of my (CS) classes are held in English. Walking down the Bahnhofstrasse, you’ll pass people from all corners of the world.

It has all the positive aspects of a modern-day metropolis, but has managed to remain small and organized.
