I’m a sojourner through this world, my citizenship is in heaven so I’ll always feel like I don’t quite fit.

Took my Grandma and my friend Betty and we took a scenic drive along the river and sat in gazebo near the waters edge. It was to cold for Granny so we got in the car and enjoyed the beauty and less of the air. It was sweet!

I have given my current employer 2 weeks notice, but I have no job awaiting me. I had to make a tough decision to help myself and save my sanity. I will go Job seeking this afternoon, for a job that is not too demanding in a healing environment with people I enjoy working with. I just need enough money to cover my few monthly bills and take care of myself. I would need a benefit plan, hopefully from day 1. I am not above doing any kind of work. I have a college degree but realize that I am not obligated to work a job I hate to attain some status on that count. I’m willing to do an honest days work, and be a contributing member of society. That is dignified. I am not defined by my profession and so I choose happiness, peace and fulfillment in whatever package it comes. I’m letting go to enjoy the life I live.

I imagine it is me. I belong to me. I must learn the art of self-acceptance. It is loving myself and giving myself permission to be wholly me, and want the things I want instead of pretending I’m something else to be accepted by others.

It was the last day my former roomate and I had together, at least for now. Mood was somber until we walked into this beautiful tea shop. She came alive, I was in awe. The gorgeous tea sets stacked and beautifully layed out on shelves around the room, the air thick with sweet and spicy teas. We each fell in love with different teas they had to sample. And the friendly staff answered all my dumb questions. It was heaen! It truly was Tea Nirvana! I purchased the 16 oz tea maker, the choco nut green tea and a small canister to keep it in for freshness. It was good to end our living arrangement on this mutually satisfying note. I just hope she and I will be ok…

Ok I pretended, and the perfectionist in me nearly keeled over! I see I’m not the spontaneous, sophisticated world traveler I’ve always wanted to be. At least not yet. There are some pretty good deals out there, which would not be impossible to swing if I really sat down and planned. Let’s put such a trip out into the nebulous future. When I can easily drop 2 to 3 thousand on a weekend in London or Paris. as things are I’d be lucky to drop 20 or 30 to drive to Disney World for the day. -“sigh” such is life…

I got a great idea from someone I met on 43people. He takes trips by calling the airlines and booking himself on cancelled flights at a budgeted price. Since London is the closest place on my list to me, Could I just up and go one weekend? Let’s pretend…
