I did an evangalistic searies in Ghana West Africa in august/september 2002. I turned 20 while I was there, so that was kinda intresting. I met the cheef of the village I was preaching in. He named a school after me for my birthday, I didn’t want a school named after me.. the School’s name is like 9 words long… blah, we wont get into that… The cheef’s birthday was the day before mine, and he attended the church I was speeking at that day. It was hard getting ues to speaking infront of so many people, and the women nursing their children infront of everybody. Nobody used deoderant, so it was hard standing so close to everybody, and being mobbed. Visitin the markets was fun, and walking around our hotel. I was in a group of 20 people from my college, we each had our own church we were speaking in. 72 people from my church were baptized because of the evangalistic searies. It was a great expirence. I visited a friend who was a student missionary in Honduras christmas 02. It was really fun visiting her and helping hear teach her class. The food was good, I really loved the pupusa’s. Good stuff! I dont know if I can find any pictures though because I’ve lost all my pic’s from there. Supid computer crashing before I could save them.. ger.. hehe but it was fun, you should visit. =)

I visited for 3 days, and the local’s weren’t to friendly towards me. I felt like they didnt’ want me in their country. I enjoyed the sites, and the underground. I would be willing to go back and spend more time there, hopefully the locals won’t be so rude to me next time.
