Osteria La Spiga, Capitol Hill

the only authentic italian restaurant outside of Italy. Period.

This is what it tastes like. No other “italian” place comes even close.

They make passatelli just like my grandmother (who used to live in Faenza, Emilia-Romagna) made them.
