Museo Frida Kahlo

Worth visiting!

Why I recommend this place to visitors

It is a quiet oasis in Mexico City.
It takes you back in Mexican history.
Most important: It makes you feel like a guest of Frida (instead of like a visitor in a museum).

Berlin

(in Germany)

Worth visiting!

How this place changed my life

Every inhabitant or visitor develops a very personal picture of Berlin. There are as many Berlins as people shaping the city. It is probably Germany’s only true metropolis—and stays intimate as a little village at the same time.
So many people there don’t care for ‘status’ and do their thing, open a workshop or a little patisserie and offer things of superior quality. Examples:
-> http://www.leobettini.de/wir.html
-> http://www.salonsucre.de/ and
-> Yuki Espressobar, Lehmbruckstr. 15, 10245 Berlin or
-> Jörn Rischke – Ledermanufaktur, Gipsstr. 7, Berlin-Mitte

Places and people like these inspire me to value my own dreams and talents.

And last not least: I had my first Döner Kebap in Berlin as a teenager and got married there years later ;-)

Weinstube Zum Alten Schuster

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Very gemuetlich!

This is one of my favourite places when I visit Bad Brueckenau. The pub is situated in the old city centre in a pedestrian area. In former times, it was a shoemaker’s workshop. Now it features a lot of ancient tools and pictures. The food is very typical of the region: high-quality, local products and excellent beer or wine are served.

Friday is non-smoking day. As the place seats only few people, it makes sense to reserve in advance, especially in winter. During summer, people can also sit out of doors on a nice terrace with a fountain.
