It is a quiet oasis in Mexico City.
It takes you back in Mexican history.
Most important: It makes you feel like a guest of Frida (instead of like a visitor in a museum).
Every inhabitant or visitor develops a very personal picture of Berlin. There are as many Berlins as people shaping the city. It is probably Germany’s only true metropolis — and stays intimate as a little village at the same time.
So many people there don’t care for ‘status’ and do their thing, open a workshop or a little patisserie and offer things of superior quality. Examples:
