Saw the University Match in 1989. Need to go see England, though.

Can be a pain to get to in summer (over crowded roads), but nice beaches and relaxed setting.

Great beaches, child-friendly pubs, walking trails and other activities. Decent chance of good weather as well, especially in the SW.

Spectacular natural beauty.

Was a bit rushed. The bazaar and baths were great. Much more to see than I had time for!

May not be much in its own right, but you’ve got Jamestown, Yorktown, Colonial Williamsburgh, Busch Gardens and Virginia Beach in easy striking distance.

Spent 5 months there at the Air Force Academy. Very outdoorsy and beautiful.

Not sexy, maybe. I grew up an hour away. It’s great to drive in from the west through the Port Pitt tunnel and see the city spring suddenly into view. The Three Rivers area (park, sports stadiums) is very nice.

Dublin, County Cork, County Kerry, Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, Connemara. All are fantastic.

I think I only saw the ugly bits. I’m sure it’s worth visiting.
