Bonn

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

I guess my first time in Bonn was pretty early in my life, since i was born there. It’s a real nice and relaxed city which gets kinda boring after a while. But cologne is near, so that ain’t too big an issue.

10 Downing Street

Worth visiting!

Chillin'

I went to 10 downing street to hang out with my mates Tony and Gordon.

We had a pretty relaxed weekend there, since Tony actually lives in 11 Downing Street and so the kids and wife were over there, not bothering us while we were playing “Need For Speed Government” on Gordons new hd-beamered psp3. The two of them introduced me to the art of drinking english ale, whereas I brought some bottles of good German Bitburger and Mühlen Kölsch.

The weekend was a nice opportunity to get some things cleared up in terms of the English-German-relationships, and to point folks in the right direction, we even set up a manifesto entitled “What Both Like”.
In the document, some of our popular ‘mutual friends’ are listed, to further enhance sympathy between us and them. some of those ‘mutual friends’ on our list were: cars, beer, football, girls.

We even thought about making the concept available to other nations, because we found a big deal of the points on our list might be applicable for other countries’ mutualities, too. We’re
currently curious to see how this turns out in terms of world peace and stuff.

Well, time will tell, as they say. Whatever the outcome, I’m down with my mates on Downing Street 10.

Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

(in France)

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: cote d'azur is wack :)

southern france is just too beautiful, especially the girls.

still, cote d’azur sucked. it was somewhat ugly, highways next to the stupid pebble-beaches and monaco is crap anyway. i dont even remeber nice, perhaps it’s not that bad at all.

Worth visiting!

How this place changed my life

Lived there for a year after school to do my Zivildienst.

Spent my time in Altona, Eimsbüttel, at Jungfernstieg, I-Punkt Skatehall and aufm Kiez.

Was a pretty important year for me, I think I became somewhat grown-up there.

Nice city, sometimes strange, but always with style. Maybe the coolest place in Germany. In every meaning of the word.

I’d love to go there again, haven’t been for two years now. Damn!

Czech Republic

(in Europe)

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

We went to a lil House near Velké Meziříčí. Nice Landscape, somewhat similar to the infamous E.I.F.E.L.

One day we spent in BRNO. Nice lil’ City. I’m kinda proud I’m about the only person having went to Czech Republic without visiting Prague! Hah!

Check this out:

1. Slimovice (very nice plum-schnapps)

2. Prbyniazek (some childrens vanilla-yoghurt sorta thing, I dont know how to spell it correctly)

3. Restaurants (still pretty cheap and sometimes very good)

4. Kozel – Rather cheap beer that tastes rather excellent.

New York City

Worth visiting!

Need to go there again!

I spent a week there when I was about 18. I basically spent the days skateboarding at seaport and walking through the streets listening to hiphop mixtapes I had bought from street dealers.
Once I was doing backside nosegrind reverts at the seaport-curbs and a black guy came up to me sayin: “Who are you?” And I told him my name and that I was from europe and he was like “Cool, I’m Burton, nice to have you here.” Then he did a bs nosegrind revert, too, and it was way smoother than mine :)

I don’t know why, but that’s what comes to my mind first when I think about New York. I sometimes wonder who that Burton guy might have been and what he’s doing these days.

Netherlands

(in Europe)

Worth visiting!

VLA !!!

I love the Netherlands. It’s just around the corner and it’s so neat and beautiful and modern and efiicient. I’ve always felt welcome there although the dutch are said to dislike germans. I dont’t care. I like them :)
Actually, there’s no other country that I feel so at home at.
Besides Germany, of course.

Hey, PLUS, they got the most beautiful beaches. Real, true beaches with dunes and wind and seagulls and cold water, rain, sun, life.

Not those carribbean plastic beaches from the movies. This is the real stuff!

Sad to say we’re gonna beat the dutch at World Cup 06.

Worth visiting!

Dude, where's my cash?

This is a cool city.

And it’s the most expensive place i’ve ever been to.
yes, i’ve been to london before :)

The climate was refreshing, somehow the whole city was so refreshing. Hard to describe. Definitely worth it.

The funniest thing were the Traffic Signs pointing towards Kiel/Germany that are to be found on every bigger street. Either there’s a wormhole somewhere or they refer to the ferry.

Köln

Worth visiting!

True beauty lies within

I’m here about every weekend and i don’t actually think it’s such a beautiful city at first sight. But the deeper you dig into it the more you’ll like it. There’s a certain cologne-vibe here, a feeling of open-mindedness and easiness that I’m always having visiting cologne since I’ve been 14 or so. Cologne’s always a good place to be.

Berlin

(in Germany)

Worth visiting!

Where it's at!

Berlin is just the hottest shit.

I love it. It’s ugly, nasty, dirty and it will kick your ARSE!

It’s still so weird and cheap and full of exploding creative energy, I just can’t think of any place that has a vibe even close to it. It’s even better if you speak german (turkish will do, too), but don’t mind if you don’t. People can be pretty unfriendly, but that’s part of the fun. In Winter, bring a radiator. Better bring ten.
