Worth visiting!
My wife and I drove up island to Tofino and then took a seaplane up to Hot Springs Cove. We stayed at the Innchanter, a cool b & b inside of an old fishing boat.

This is the largest of the Gulf Islands in the Inside Passage on the West Coast of Canada. If you’re looking for a real west coast experience you should probably consider Long Beach, Tofino, but for a quaint and fun trip Salt Spring Island will do.
During the late spring and through the early fall there is a weekly farmer’s market on Saturdays that is worth visiting. There is also a beautiful park, Ruckle Park, that is well worth the trip.
If you’re feeling adventurous and very energetic you can rent a kayak and do a circuit of the island.
