Love it here, small towns, lots of things to do if you love nature, being in the woods, hunting, fishing, 4wheeling, snowmobiling, camping, etc. Great place to visit, but the economy sucks, dont plan on settling down here and finding a good job :(

class trip in 8th grade. it was fun, very hot over there though during the summer.

I’ve lived in the upper peninsula of michigan all my life (Ishpeming/Marquette area) , and it is definately worth visiting. Great for camping, hunting, snowmobiling, 4wheeling, skiing/snowboarding, swimming, sightseeing, etc. Beautiful scenery and soooo many places to explore in the woods. Only thing that gets to you is the long, cold winters, and snowstorms. Summers are generally mild, average 65-90 degrees, but humid.
