I didn’t like this place at first, because it was strange and all I wanted to do was go home after having been in India for almost a month. My flights were cancelled twice, and on the second day, my friend and I got to see Venice Beach during the daytime. It’s such a strange place and I didn’t really fit in there, but everyone was nice and it’s an experience everyone should have.

I don’t feel like I really got the experience of being here, as most of the time we stayed in our resort. I did get a wonderful Thai massage, ride in a rickshaw, and eat lots of amazing food. I joked around that once I become a published author, I’m having my agent send me to Hua Hin for 6 months so I can “write a book.”

A very dirty city, but it was still amazing. Definitely a shock for a Westerner; I still don’t know where all the people came from or where they were going or coming from!
