Don’t know when I’ll get back, but London is a great, if confusing, city.

Soulless. And yes, I know there are pockets of worth, but that just doesn’t make me want to go back. Just like Houston.

I have family who lives here, so I have been many times since I was little. However, I have stayed there with my partner and not let any of them know I was there, and played tourist; that was fun!

Painted Lady Inn is a fabulous bed-and-breakfast.

So beautiful. And we’re going back in June!

Well, I grew up in Clear Lake, actually, but close enough. Houston is all right—pretty good food, interesting stuff to do, definitely enough for a weekend trip. But I never want to live there again!

I lived in Chicago for 4.5 years while attending IIT and Roosevelt University. I loved not having a car, taking the el everywhere at all hours of the day and night, going to different neighborhoods and just wandering around. I miss Pizzeria Due, Potbelly’s, and Tender Buttons, and I miss Treasure Island and Belmont and Clarke’s and Pick-Me-Up. I miss seeing the frozen lake at night.
