Ok… so i am a geek. Like there was a question about this? Vermont has a museum of precision machinery (i don’t remember where, that’s what Google™ is for!). a most incredible place. hard to imagine people actually made quality things at one time. lololol

I spent the last three halloweens in Keene at the pumpkin festival. THEY have jack!!! lolololol

so far, if i got to pick ANY place in the world to live, i would pick NH (as long as i had a california salary—the salaries here are a bit, uhm, low). I absolutely love it there. If i ever get the chance to be married and raise kids, i would pick NH in a heartbeat.

Ah Boston, i knew ye well… but my heart is in Worcester. If you can pronounce it correctly i will buy you a tommy burger.

Bradley International Airport (BDL) is here; so is Hartford (but not in the same place). I need more time in CT.

We stopped here on the way to New York from Washington (DC, not state, silly). another place worth spending much more time in.

Amish, Lancaster County, National Toy Train Museum, and of course, PHL.

Wow… what a place. I remember a building full of outboard motors that had previously been the home of a milk company; even had stalls for the horses used to pull the milk wagons (no, the milk producing equipment, a.k.a. COW, was stored elsewhere).

My dad had bypass surgery here, and a stent put in, and a store. A “Black” river that isn’t, a tunnel to canada, a house where one could watch the ships on the Great Lakes (at least on ONE lake), and an offer for a job i couldn’t take (it was take the job and lose the kids, or keep the kids and lose the job; i chose to keep the kids.)

No… i didn’t go for the cheese. In fact, i don’t think i HAD any cheese when i was there. The destination of another ferry ride..

U-505, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planitarium. 35 years later, i remember them.

And the next few times i visited…. paper airplanes off the 30th floor, naked guys in rollaway beds stuffed in the elevator, and the best beef dip sandwiches anywhere.

The last time i was there: staying at “the W”, wondering if today would be the day an airplane collided with “the Tower”, and more beef dip sandwiches.
