When I was there it was run over by American college kids drunk and stumbling around on Spring Break. I had been driving up the Amalfi Coast for several days and this was the worst point on the trip by far. But driving around at 3am was pretty cool, I’ll have to admit. I had to drive around because I couldn’t sleep in the hostel—too many drunks in the bunks around me, snoring loudly and crying about fights they had in the club earlier that evening.

How cool is that

I lived here during 1988-1990 and witnessed the transition out of Communist rule. This is a great country, great food, people, history, and Budapest is a cool and cheap place to hang out. I’d live there if I found a good job.
