If you have such beauty at your feet at these place, avoid the Big stuff.
Get a bot from Angra dos Reis and go camp in Aventureiros, which is on the other side of the island, then wake up really early and get abot to see the rest of the tiny island around.
At night get yourself a beer and enjoy he music, the locals and the mosquitos!

I´ve had the best time here.
Friendly people, great food, really quiet and not comfy at all if camping.
Good preparation is required since you´ll be walking up and down the hills all day.
Fantastic view at the end and cold swims so go there between august and october. Otherwise it will be raining a lot!

So fantastic, just to think that so many arquitects have been in this marvelous construction that is not even finished yet!. The vitrals are amazing, and the view from the top floor as well. Poor stairs tough and loads of people going in. Took me 40 minutes to get to the top but at least i got a great shot of my friends sitting at the bottom, lazy people, waiting for me to come down.

Í tried to collect as much info as i could on this place but got to no reasonable conclusions as to how did those rocks got there and why are they like that. But is worth visiting really out of curiosity, the place is in the middle of the road, you pay to get in and there is not much about it.
Go early and check on other places around.

My friend James and i sat for hours having a bottle of wine back there and trying to befriend squirrels. i don´t really understand why people where looking at us as if we were crazy people…
