Cebu City

Not worth visiting!

Hot City

been to the chinese temple. it was a nice place but the transpo was quite difficult. i find the streets very narrow and the city very hot. i do not particularly like the traffic it caused. i guess i havent had time to really explore the city. maybe i have to go back again there.

Really nice place

went there with my family and my brother-in-laws’ family. the island was beautiful. the falls, the cold and hot springs, the old church and the white cross out on the sea. it was amazing, especially the lanzones there. so sweet and delicious.

Bohol

Worth visiting!

Chocolate Hills and more

i’ve been to bohol twice. That means i’ve been to the chocolate hills twice, rode on the floating restaurant twice, saw tarsiers and visited panglao beach resort. it was really nice to be able to visit the place, especially since on both occassions, it was all expense paid trip.:-). the chocolate hills is quite far from the other tourist spots. you would really need a day to tour it.

Japan

(in Asia)

Worth visiting!

My first travel abroad

My first stamp on my passport was to japan. i was so happy about it. it was a dream since i was 9 and it came true. i was invited to visit japan for 2 weeks only. the first few days were lectures at tokyo. then, we rode on a plane to yamaguchi were we visited the Mazda factory and interviewed local telecom workers at their homes. We also visited some of the parks and musuem there. We went to hiroshima to visit the memorial park and rode a bullet train back to Tokyo. i love it there. i wish i could go back again someday.

Hiroshima

Worth visiting!

Hiroshima, Japan

the place is really worth visiting. before you can actually go to the site, you will view a video presentation, tour around the musuem, then go to the bomb site. the video was really touching. the musuem was interactive. scale model of how large the bomb has destroyed is displayed along with pictures and actual objects from the explosion. aside from the bomb site, there’s a street in hiroshima that is exclusively for shoppers. no cars are allowed to enter and on both sides of the streets are shops, shops and more shops. it’s a nice place to visit.
