Totally worth it

BIG city, many neighbourhoods. Interesting history (of course), good people watching. Everyone goes out LATE. Learn the S-bahn, U-bahn systems as you will be using them. People drink, smoke all over the place…but seem quite mellow. Food OK, not great…too many sausages at Imbiss (surprise, surprise). Don’t bother trying to save money by staying in Wedding or other outlying areas…stay in Mitte. Prices are cheap, for Europe. Sehr gut.

Bring comfortable walking shoes

Prague was one of the most beautiful cities I have visited. The countryside is lovely as well…go up to Karlovy Vary and do a spa trip.
