Saying that the Smithsonian Institution is worth a visit is a gross understatement. It is so full of american history and culture it is easily one of our country’s greatest treasures.

My boyfriend and I vitited D.C. in Febuary of 2000. No crowds or waiting anywhere. We went throught the White House twice because there wasn’t a line.

We stayed mainly in the mall area. We spent every day of that week in a different museum or monument.

I’m glad I saw it when I did. It is probably harder to get around now.

For better or worse, I was born and raised in Berkeley. I now visit from time-to-time to visit the used bookstores etc…

Lots of things to see. I’d like to see more of the UK.

I would like to spend more time there.

Beautiful city. I want to go again.

I was twelve when I went to Lima, Peru. I stayed with family.

I didn’t get to see Machu Picchu. I did see real poverty from a distant.

It is worth seeing for an expanded world view.

I took a cruise with my in-laws. Lots and lots of wildlife.

I wish I could have seen the Northern Lights. (summer is the wrong time of year)

It was worth it and I want to do it again.
