Chicago is perhaps the premiere American city (as recognized by many European urbanologists – sorry N.Y.) and rewards visits and explorations.

Yes, I too will often not leave “the HIll” for days.
It’s a small town, many, many of us are friends, many more know each other by face and by casual chatting. People tend to look out for each other here. The downside is that like many places in the U.S., it’s getting more expensive to live here. Like all (or most) neighborhoods, there’s a lot of history here, and still some people around who know it. I would love to catch a part of Capitol Hill’s oral history.
