I would live in the park if possible. Went here for my honeymoon. although i didnt realize it was honeymoon capital. bah.
If you’d like a leaisure bike ride through an old town farmlands ride the Cades Cove route. It was great (go durring times cars arent allowed which is wednesday and saturaday mornings). This route is actually just north of the smokeys but very close.

Beautiful area north of the smokey mountains. The Chalets are great! in town- ugh tourist tourist everywhere. its like a year long carnival.

Loved all the falls and such and the many stairs along the way.

I have been to ADK several times each time I see so many things. Afterall it is 6 million acres. I want to go back during fall colors and do a couple high peaks.
