Great when you know the beaches that avoid the crowds! Had great fun in a caravan full of people last summer. Good times! My friend knew of some cool “secret” beaches, one is shown below but I can’t remember the name (honest!)

Bude is my absolute favourite place in the world. I’ve been there in the Summer so much as a kid and growing up, I learnt to surf there, went to Adventure International. Widemouth Bay just round the corner is great too. The Breakwater is fun to walk across, the headland is beautiful, and I love the little shops in the town. Great memories.

I grew up here, and my parents still live there. It is great, especially in the summer. You can go to The Hoe and Barbican and see old cobbled streets, the huge Aquarium with sharks, and take a trip around Plymouth Sound. Sir Francis Drake, the stripy Eddystone lighthouse, pasties, and a surfy feel in the summer! Wembury nearby is good for surfing, not very sandy though. I used to live there too!
