British Museum, Bloomsbury

Needs repeated visits by emchik

I’ve only been once, and that’s certainly not enough to get a good scope for the whole place. But, I’m in England til May, and the British Musuem is free. I have a feeling I’ll get to go a couple of more times.

If the whole study abroad thing works out for me, this is where I’ll be going. I’ll know in a couple of weeks if the university is willing to take me next spring. Cross your fingers!

Go! It's great! by emchik

I had the fortune to spend five weeks there once. It’s beautiful. Eery time I would walk downtown, I would always feel like I was a part of history. I was going to places where people had been going for hundreds of years. It’s pretty safe too. I walked pretty much all over town by myself all the time.

The art! The history! by emchik

It was absolutely fabulous to see murals and landmarks that I had seen in books or pictures all my life. The murals are breathtaking by the way.

Austin, Texas

Ahh, Austin by emchik

I lived there for five years. It’s my favorite place in Texas. Go there if you can. Listen to some live music. Eat at some really neat Austin landmark. It’s great!

I love Atlanta, but I haven’t been back since I moved to Texas—and that was a long time ago. I’ll be getting reacquainted though, I’m going back to visit a friend soon. I’m excited!
