Had a great time
Drove down Highway One to Morro Bay, and spent a lovely leisurely weekend there.
Saw more pelicans on Morro Rock than I had ever seen in one place.

What a bizarre place … flying to Vegas, you come in across desert, desert, more desert … and then this blob of neon-lit, wasteful extravagance. Very, very odd.
