The Crave Cafe, Midtown
I visited a few times when I was in town...
…and I have to say, I had the best cappuccino each visit. It was beautiful!

over 5 years agoI went because one of my favorite local politicos was running for office as a county commissioner and he told everyone to go there. it was awhile ago and i think technically he was encouraging people to trespass, but he was so passionate about the place, and the view, and The Possibilities.
He wasn’t re-elected, which is too bad, because he is so right about this Whiskey Island. It is a delightful little isolated place that is right there just about in the middle of things.
over 6 years agothis is one of my favorite gems in cleveland. a lot of cities of cleveland’s size does not have something like this: a place that shows unusual, hard-to-find, classic, and amazing movies run by people who are passionate about film. i am stunned how many clevelanders are oblivious to its existence.
god bless john ewing and everyone else who makes this place possible.
