Paris, Ile de France

Simply Amazing..!

There’s only two bad things that I can say about Paris. One is that I went when the heat was killing people in France (about 120 degrees, the other is that it’s the most expensive city I’ve ever been in.

My most important advice is: don’t go during the summer…

Karlovy Vary, Karlovarský Kraj

The Spa Town

This is a small town about 20 miles from the German border. It’s main source of income comes from tourism due to its hot mineral water springs. The river that splits the town in two gives off steam, so at night the town seems to be under the blanket of low lying clouds. It’s simply mystifying.

There are hot water fountains all over town where you can fill a glass from, above every one of these fountains there is a sign where it says the temperature of the water, the mineral elements found in it, and the properties it has if you drink it. Every hotel in town is oriented towards health related services, and there are a couple of world renowned spa hotels.

The people are incredibly nice due to their service oriented town.

Quaint Town
