I love this place. They moved down the street from their original location and I like it even better. I used to live within walking distance and would visit regularly. I’ve moved but I still stop in if i’m in the area. Friendly folk, great coffee, comfortable space that feels like you’re home. Truly a place where your spirit can get replenished. LBGT-friendly and every other kind of friendly. A community resource.

Touchstone Coffee and Tea House is located at 445 NE 70th, just south of the Glisan and NE 70th intersection. Look for a light gray house immediately south of Domino’s parking lot.

I love Powell’s but sometimes I find it a little too large and overwhelming. Powell’s also has some smaller locations and I particularly like the one on Hawthorne. It still has a great Powell’s feel but is a little more my scale.
