I’m rediscovering simple things! It’s a great place to take your children. They’ll be amazed. My local library also has cd’s and dvd’s. Books on tape and cd. Their is no excuse to be lacking literacy in your life.

I visited Belize in September of 2005, prior to recent negative news coverage. To be honest, at the time I was disappointed in the city itself. It is a “developing” country. However, an aura of happiness resonated on the faces of the people. The tour guide on the city tour was very young and explained to us that a feeling of unity presides and all races and religions are welcome. I enjoy old scenery. The worn houses with the eclectic mosaic exteriors were amazing. The man pushing a fruit cart covered by an umbrella was a delight to see. I hear the water activities are amazing, particularly the cave tubing and the scuba or snorkeling. I would go again for that.
