I love public pools
The outdoor swimming season in Portland is short, but this is a great outdoor pool in inner SE. It’s tucked away in Creston Park near the corner of SE 42nd and Powell. You can actually see it from Powell if you pay attention and look down as you pass the park. The pool itself is a small gem of a pool in a green grassy bowl in the corner of the park surrounded by towering Doug firs. Crowded with locals on hot days, but heated (try it on a cool morning).
