I was here years ago, but I still remember one particular touristy site. If you are in Dublin, you must go to the Walter Beatty Museum. It is the best museum that I have ever attended. We spent 5 hours inside and only left because they were closing. I read every single thing written about each object that I viewed. I was fascinated. I learned a lot and I was inspired to continue my research when I returned home.

I lived in Scarborough for 8 months, while I studied at the university. I think that the best place to visit while living in Scarborough is Whitby Abbey. It is only about a half hour bus ride away and it is beautiful and magical. Also, if you are in Whitby, you must try the Fish and Chips from the Magpie Cafe. I’ll never eat fish and chips in America again because nothing could compare to those at the Magpie Cafe and I prefer to remember them as scrumptious and delicious.

I lived in Westwood when I was attending UCLA in the screenwriting program and working as an intern at “Entertainment Today” in Burbank. I met one of my best friends when we were randomly paired to room together. I learned a lot about myself and the value or initiative. Most importantly, CA was the last place that I remembered feeling happy. Within 3 months after I left I was working well into my eating disorder and had stopped feeling anything. For a long time I associated the place with the contentment, but now that I am recovering and I am finding some happiness again, I realize - it is a wonderful place, but it’s not the place that I want back - it’s the person that I was when I was there.

Betsy has lived there for nearly 4 years now and I have yet to go out and visit her. I feel like a heel.
