I took my girlfriend out here the morning of her birthday. We got up at 4 AM and drove all the way out from Hempstead area to Montauk on Rt. 27, aka Sunrise Highway. It was amazing. We drove all the way there as the sky lit up and then arrived just as the sun rose over the Atlantic.
over 5 years agoI was here for 2 days, and it unfortunately was not a longer stay. Although Gryon is basically the name for the side of the mountain that contains Chalet Martin, a few residences and restaurants, it was unbelievable. If you enjoy snow, mountains, skiing, snowboarding, or anything even remotely related to those things (and you happen to be in Switzerland), then you need to go here.
