Amazing country, super-friendly people who are so tolerant of us ignorant Merkins. Managed to survive with a handful of bad Italian and an average of five to six faux pas per day.

In an Internet cafe full of kids playing Magic The Gathering. Just goes to show: where every you go, there you are.

Laid back, nothing to do but swim, surf, hike, bike and whale watch. No skyscrapers, deserted beautiful beaches. The place to go to get away from it all and experience a true tropical vacation.

Recently discovered via the Ellis Island records that this is where my family came from nearly a century ago. Now I’m going back.
