George and I have stayed in Hendersonville three times. It’s a great home base during long weekends in the mountains. We stay at the Quality Inn, which has decent rates and includes an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna.

I was helping my sister get two cars and two kids from CT to CA, and we routed our trip through, among other places, the Badlands. It was so impressive! It was one of the highlights of the trip for me.

My boyfriend and I are going there for our anniversary in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to the long weekend on Tybee Island.

for 13 years. Some interesting restaurants and stores. Lots of culture if you’re willing to search it out, thanks in part to the colleges and universities in the area.

I would recommend this! The view is fantastic from the top, and the visitor center is good.

I remember going there as a child and seeing some of the historical things, would like to go back sometime.

I visited my sister there once, and other than getting to see her, I don’t remember much about it to make me want to go back.

It’s a beat college town! Beautiful mountains around. I remember the big M for Montana State on one of the mountains.

While it is small and a little tourist-trappy, it’s kinda cute, too! Also, if you’re into seeing all the entrances into Yellowstone, it’s a do. I remember going to the Dairy Queen there a few times while I worked in the park one summer.
